Realme has already confirmed the Realme 9 series will go official next year. This series comprises the Realme 9, 9 Pro, 9 Pro+, and Realme 9i. Though the exact launch date has not been revealed by the company, if believe the rumors, it will be going to be launched in January next year.
The renders of the Realme 9i suggested the smartphone will have a similar design as the Realme GT Neo2 which was announced last October in India.
Realme 9i launched in January 2022
The Realme 9i phone with a curved display and a punch-hole cut out on the top-left corner to house the selfie camera sensor. You will get the power button on the right edge, whereas the volume rocker was seen on the left side.
The display, processor, and camera details of the same smartphone have been revealed online. Check how is the upcoming Realme 9i better than the predecessor Realme 8i.
The features of the Realme 9i have come out through the Vietnamese publication The Pixel.
The smartphone is said to feature the Snapdragon 680 chip which was announced last October and comes with support for the 4G network. This also means that the Realme 9i won’t support 5G connectivity.

The Realme 9i expected specifications could be a feature of a full-HD+ LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate.
The phone might come with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 SoC and 50-megapixel main camera sensor.
The tipster also separately suggested Snapdragon 680 SoC will power the phone.
There will be four models in the Realme 9 series, namely Realme 9, Realme 9i, Realme 9 Pro, and Realme 9 Pro+ or Max. The complete range is expected to arrive in the first quarter of 2022.
