According to a report, OnePlus was planning to release the Unified OS alongside the worldwide model of the OnePlus 10 Pro, but the launch has been postponed. The Unified OS platform is expected to be released in the second half of this year by the Chinese smartphone manufacturer. The OnePlus Unified OS is an integrated software from OnePlus and Oppo that is believed to be based on Android 13. The OnePlus Pad tablet, on the other hand, will operate on the Android 12L OS, which was designed specifically for foldable smartphones and tablets.
OnePlus is expected to launch the Unified OS in the second half of 2022
According to a rumor, OnePlus’ Unified OS will be released in the second half of 2022, and the firm is planning to release a flagship smartphone based on Android 13 and running on the new integrated OS. The Unified OS from OnePlus is still in its early stages of development, so it will take some time before it is ready for the market. OnePlus and Oppo had previously planned to release this integrated software alongside the OnePlus 10 Pro, but it is still in the early stages of development. Last month, the OnePlus 10 Pro was released in China with Oppo’s ColorOS 12.1 skin, which is based on Android 12.
We may expect the global model of the OnePlus 10 Pro to come with OxygenOS 12 due to the delay in the release of UnifiedOS.
The OnePlus Pad tablet is expected to come with Android 12L, a version of the operating system designed exclusively for tablets and foldable phones. This tablet is likely to be released in the first half of 2022, so we can expect the OnePlus Pad to be announced in the coming weeks. The beta version of Android 12L, which has been optimized for foldable smartphones and tablets, was released in December. Because OnePlus has yet to confirm the release of Unified OS and the OnePlus Pad, we should treat this information with caution and wait for an official announcement.
