How to Submit Blogger Sitemap to Bing?

When it comes to submitting a sitemap, most bloggers submit their sitemap only to the most popular search engine, which is Google Search Engine. But they often forget to submit with other search engines, apart from Google, there are other popular search engines as well including Bing and Yandex; wherein you should submit a sitemap for your website to optimize your blog.

Bing Webmaster Tools is quite a good tool to analyze blog traffic coming from Bing search results.

Submitting a sitemap to Bing is quite easy and anyone can do it if they know the process of how to do it. There is no special skill required, no technical knowledge or expertise is necessary at all.

Steps to Submit Blogger Sitemap to Bing Webmaster Tools

Step 1: First of all, go to Bing Webmaster Tools, click on “Get Started” and sign in with Microsoft, Gmail, or Facebook account.

Step 2: Go to the top left corner of the screen and click the drop-down button, and then click on “Add a Site”.

Step 3: Now, you have two options to submit a sitemap, the first one is through Google Search Console, if you had verified your website with Google Search Console, you can just click on the “Submit” button lying under GSC, or else you can submit your site manually.

We’ll go with the manual method, and enter our site URL and click “Add”.

Step 4: Now, you have three methods to add and verify your website. We’ll go with the “HTML Meta Tag” option. Just copy the meta tag and paste it into your website’s home page. It should go under <head> section. Once you paste it on your website, go to Bing Webmaster again, and click on “Verify”.

Step 5: You are done! Click on “Done”, and you’ve successfully submitted and verified your sitemap to Bing Webmaster Tools.

Conclusion

Now, go to the top left corner of the screen and select the domain from the drop-down button. You will get detailed statistics about your website. Also, you can submit as many websites as you have with this above method.
