How to Split Screen on Chromebook?

It is easy to split the screen on your Chromebook to view and work on two windows at the same time. To split the screen between two windows, you need to open a couple of windows and drag them to the corresponding shares of the screen. By doing this, you can able to finish tasks faster by reorganizing and moving your windows and tabs accordingly.

Once you set up the split-screen on your computer, it will help you to get more work done conveniently, and the format also looks easier for a user to switching back and forth between windows all day long.

On a Chromebook, the computer will do the window resizing for you when done properly, and it’s really easy to set up.

How to Split Screen on Chromebook?

Below are the steps that you need to follow:

Step 1: Open the first window and click the Window reducer button on the top right corner of the screen. (You will find the reducer button between minimize and close button)

Step 2: Now, you can drag the window on either side of the screen, and a vertical line pop-up appears in the centre of the screen.

Step 3: Now, open your second Window and click the Window reducer button on the top-right corner of the screen.

Step 4: Again, drag the window into the other side of the screen and adjust the Window correctly.

That’s it! You have successfully split the screen on your Chromebook, though as and when you want, you can always go back to the typical window alignment by clicking the maximize button on the top-right corner of either of the window.
