Google provides free total cloud storage of 15GB for its services such as Gmail, Drive, Photos, and so on. Once this space is exhausted, users must pay an annual fee of $1,100 for 100GB of cloud storage.
Users are frequently careless in deleting unnecessary emails, resulting in a pile of unwanted emails in their inbox that is difficult to sort and delete.
Furthermore, many unwanted emails may cause important ones to be pushed down or lost in the shuffle.
So, if you don’t want to pay for extra storage, you can delete some of your data to make room for new files, emails, and photos.
Fortunately, Gmail has a great feature that deletes redundant emails as soon as they arrive in your inbox.
As a result, you can free up space by either manually deleting messages (a lengthy and time-consuming process though) or clearing messages larger than 10 megabytes. Another option is to block a specific sender or a group of them.
However, another option is to use the filter option to automatically remove unwanted emails from your inbox. You can use this filter option by following the below steps:
Step 1: Log in to your Gmail account and click on the filter option in the search bar. You will find it to the extreme right in the bar which says “Show Search Options”.
Step 2: Now, in the subsequent drop-down menu, enter the address from which you don’t want to receive a message in the “From” option. After then, click on “Create Filter”.
Step 3: You will see a list of options; wherein you have to check the box next to “Delete It.” Press “Create Filter” once more.
Step 4: That’s it! you will no longer receive emails from the specified address.
