Pop-up ads have been with us for the last two decades, and they’re just as annoying today as they were in their initial stage. To get rid of these annoying ads, we can use Pop-up blockers, as they prevent ads from interrupting while visiting a webpage. You can either use a Pop-up blocker like “AdBlock” or use your browser settings to prevent pop-ups. In this article, we will walk you through the entire process as to how to disable pop-up blockers in your web browser settings.
To disable the pop-up blocker in your web browser is a little complicated task. But here you can learn how to disable your pop-up blocker in any web browser.
Note: We do not recommend disabling Pop-up blockers permanently. It is recommended that you can either disable the blocker temporarily or add your favorite website to your web browser’s safe list.

Step 1: Open your Chrome browser and go to the upper right of the screen, click the three vertical dots and then select “Settings”.
Step 2: On the left side of the screen, select the “Privacy and security” option from the list.
Step 3: Under Privacy and security, you will find an option called “Site Settings”, click on it.
Step 4: Now scroll the page down and go to the Content section where you will find an option “Pop-ups and redirects”.
Step 5: At the top of the menu, off the toggle button by sliding it to the right, to disable the Pop-up blocker.
Step 1: Open your Mozilla Firefox browser, go to the upper right corner of the screen and click the three horizontal lines and then select “Option”.
Step 2: Select “Privacy and security” go to under “Permissions” section and then uncheck “Block pop-up windows” to disable the pop-up blocker.
Step 1: Open your Microsoft Edge browser and go to the top right corner of the screen and click the three horizontal dots and then select “Settings”.
Step 2: Under “Cookies and site permissions”, go to an option called “Pop-ups and redirects”.
Step 3: To disable the Pop-up blocker, slide the toggle button to your left.
Step 1: On your Android phone or tablet, open the Chrome app Chrome and tap on the three vertical dots.
Step 2: Scroll the page down and go to “Settings”
Step 3: Scroll the next page again and select “Site Settings” and then select “Pop-ups and redirects”
Step 4: Slide the toggle button to the right to allowed pop-ups.
Step 1: On your iPhone or iPad, open the Chrome app Chrome.
Step 2: Tap More and then Settings.
Step 3: Tap Content Settings and then Block Pop-ups.
Step 4: Turn Block Pop-ups on or off.
You can allow pop-ups from specific websites since not all pop-ups are ads or spam. Some legitimate websites display useful web content via pop-up windows as well.
