Frequently Asked Questions – FAQ

Where is the pop-up blocker in Google Chrome?

To block pop-ups in Google Chrome, follow these below steps:

  • Launch Google Chrome browser on a mobile device.
  • Tap on the three vertical dot menu button in the top-right corner of the screen.
  • Then, choose Settings >> Site settings >> Pop-ups.
  • Turn the toggle button off to block pop-ups.

Why do pop-up blockers not work?

The reason is that your pop-up blocker program hasn’t been properly configured. Google Chrome features only two pop-up blocker settings:
  • Allow all sites to show pop-ups, and
  • Do not allow any site to show pop-ups (recommended).
The latter option must be selected to block pop-ups.
