PDF stands for “Portable Document Format”, and you can easily convert a Word file to PDF so that it will see the same manner by all. Just follow these simple steps to convert your Word document into PDF.

Step 1: Open Microsoft Word, Go to File Menu and Select “New”, then select “Blank document”.

Step 2: Now, type your document which can be a letter, resume, essay, or invitation. Once you are done with the writing, go to the File menu again and select “Save” or “Save As”.

Step 3: Now, select a path where you want the document to be saved, it can be in “OneDrive” or “This PC”.

Step 4: Once selected, a dialog box appears wherein you have to enter a name under “File Name”, and select PDF format from the drop-down button under the “Save as type” option.

Step 5: Once done, click “Save” to save the file.

Other options to convert Word to PDF

There are several other online tools are also available that can convert a Word file to PDF instantly. A couple of options are as below:

The first option we recommend is Adobe. Just go to Adobe’s official website and click on “Select a file”. After selecting your Word document file, wait for a moment, it will process your document file and then flash a confirm message “Your PDF is ready”.

You need to click on “Download” to save your file on your computer.

The other option is to convert Word to PDF is smallpdf.com. Choose your word file, wait for a moment it uploads a file, and then convert it to PDF. Once done, you will see a preview of your word file on the left, and on the right, you will get the “Download” button. Click on it and save your file in PDF format.

How to convert PDF, if don’t have MS-Word

 If you don’t have Microsoft Word on your computer, Google Drive will help you create a Word document and save it to Google document.

You can easily convert this Google document into PDF format with the help of an online tool as mentioned hereinabove.
