YouTube Channel “YouTube Creators” had announced several updates on September 20.

One of the most important updates is the new path to join the YouTube Partner Program.

If you a short creator and making short videos on YouTube, you can join YouTube Partner Program with the new eligibility criteria.

According to the new eligibility criteria, Shorts channels will be monetized, if a channel is having 1000 subscribers and 10 million valid views on your shorts in last 90 days.

This eligibility criteria are for all the creators, whether you are an old one or just start your YouTube Channel.

The new YPP will be in effect in 2023.

YouTube also introduce lower eligibility threshold to access fan funding even earlier, likewise Super Thanks, Super Chat, Super Stickers and Channel Memberships.

In early 2023, all current and future YPP creators, be eligible for revenue sharing from ads viewed between shorts in the Shorts Feed.

Revenue sharing is coming to Shorts in the beginning early 2023!
